VIVOTEK's NR8201 network video recorder offers an elegant recording solution for VIVOTEK network cameras and performs real-time monitoring and recording simultaneously. It supports up to 4 PoE channels in H.264, MJPEG, and MPEG4 and provides multiple recording modes including alarm recording, scheduled recording, manual recording and continuous recording. The installation is very simple as the camera will be automatically registered when it is plugged in. The NR8201 also offers a user-friendly interface for user to configure network settings as well as control camera movement. It features strong integrated 802.3af compliant POE (Power-over-Ethernet) greatly simplifying installation making NR8201 a cost-effective recording system. The user is able to record high-definition mega-pixel videos on a large capacity removable hard disk (not included), an external hard disk from the eSATA interface and also a USB interface for backup. Importantly it has a built-in gateway that separates  the network cameras from the regular data network drastically reducing the impact of the bandwidth requirements of video cameras. The unit is equiped with four digital inputs and one digital output interfaces and is capable of integrating with security sensors and alarms. NR8201 is a comprehensive network video recorder fully featured with multi-functionality to provide the best quality and highest performance in network video recording.
