The Y-cam Bullet is the latest addition to the Y-cam range. The camera can be accessed with either a PC or a MAC and features the same high specification as the the new Y-cam SD cameras. The camera has the following extra features: Designed to be used outside, no additional housing or Shell required, True Day/Night performance (true colours during the day ,no purple instead of green!) and excellent night time performance with IR lamps for a distance of up to 15m, optional 2 way audio, and an alarm input and output.

Overview

The Y-cam range of cameras is designed for use with PCs running Windows or Mac OS computers.

Typically the Y-cam Bullet can record for many hours on to its SD card but if 24/7 Hour recording is required please visit our 'Recorders for IP Cameras' page to select an appropriate NVR.

Easy to install, simple to operate, the high-performance Y-cam Bullet camera operates independently, without the need to be connected to a computer, in full colour and infrared nightvision.

View and hear, in real time, from anywhere in the world, via any internet-enabled computer or phone. If any motion is detected, the camera can instantly email you a snapshot, or record the video to a microSD card. 

The Y-cam Bullet also includes professional features designed for industrial and business applications – fully weatherproofed, IR-cut filter for true/day night operation, 2-way audio, PoE (Power over Ethernet), and WiFi. Also includes an optional sun visor for maximum clarity of vision.

SD Features

Using the SD Menu it is possible to configure the recording in the following ways:

• Continuous Recording: The Y-cam can be programmed to record video in periods between 10 seconds and 24 hours, the timing of the recording can be controlled through the Schedule Menu of the camera.
• Record Video on Motion Detection (VMD): The Y-cam can programmed to record a preset length of video on detecting motion with in its field of view, the VMD is fully configurable and can be set to work at at scheduled times.
• Record Snapshots on Motion Detection: As above but records a JPEG image on each event.
• Interval Recording: The camera can store a snapshot in a predefinable period from every 200msecs to 24hrs. Excellent for recording building projects or watching plants grow!
• Playback from the SD card: this can be accessed directly or from the the SD Menu in the camera. Click on Browse SD Card and a list of recordings will be seen, video files will play back with Windows Media Player and snapshots will be displayed by your own Image viewer.
