The Engenius PoE Injector is ideal for powering a single PoE IP Camera such as the Y-cam Bullet, the new Y-cam PoE and  many of the Vivotek cameras.

The PoE Injector is a small and compact standalone product for injecting power in to an Ethernet cable run. The EnGenius Injector is compliant with the 'Alternative B' PoE solution which offers 48V/0.375A power supply with standard pin definition of Ethernet cable. Pin#1,2,3 and 6 with data transmission; pin # 4,5,7 and 8 with power enabled to device. Since this unit does not instigate the full, pre-power delivery checks, it cannot be considered as fully 802.3af compliant.

The EnGenius Injector generates safe power over category 5 cabling. By sending 48V, Ethernet terminals such as wireless LAN access point, IP phone, and web cameras are powered remotely. It is especially designed for outdoor networking facility and low port density installations.
